Run The City

Work Image

We met on a Monday afternoon and moved through the city together. From quiet streets to open parks, ending on a rooftop as the light slowly faded.

The way I shot was very focused:

getting close, capturing key moments, and then stepping back, almost like switching between instinct and precision.

We weren’t just shooting content, we were building something that had to feel right visually and strategically.

A few days later, the images went live, including a collaboration post with Salomon. But beyond the outcome, the shoot reinforced something important to me:

In March 2026, I worked with triathlon athlete Lillie Roberts on a running shoot in Zurich.

We had first met a few months earlier at a Vitamin Well event. At that point, it was just a conversation nothing planned. But I knew there was potential.

Not just for a shoot, but for something more.
As Lillie is sponsored from Salomon, I knew that this would give me a foot into the door.

I wanted to create work that could actually lead somewhere.

The idea was simple:

capture Lillie running through Zurich, the city she had just moved to.

But the execution had to be precise. No overproduction, no artificial setups. Just real movement, real light, real moments, but executed with intention.

Strong sports content doesn’t come from complexity.

It comes from clarity.

The right athlete, setting and moment.
And the ability to recognise it when it happens.

That’s the kind of work I want to keep doing.
